Mother's Day Gift

I made this project as a Mother's Day gift for my mother-in-law. The idea for this project came from this blog post from DCWV Diary (DCWV are my very favorite paper stacks!)

For this project I used paper from the Green stack and the Neutral Cardstock stack. I hadn't though about the colors at the time, but the colors of the flowers perfectly coordinates with the cushions on her dining chairs. Hopefully she'll enjoy displaying this in their new home.

In the close-up, you can see I had the kids write their names on their hands. You can also see I inked the edges of their hand prints. I only did this because I was using a dark background paper and wanted them to stand out a little.
