Cards

Last Saturday afternoon I decided to re-locate my crafting materials (temporarily) to the dining/living room. My husband was out of town attending an MLS game for the afternoon/evening, the kids were playing in their room, and I had recorded the royal wedding coverage and had not yet watched it. It sounded like the perfect opportunity to get started on the many cards I need to make for the busy months of May & June.

I happily knocked several cards off my to-do list, and admittedly still have all my gear spread out on the dining table. Oops! But, I have been working on more just about every night since, so I don't feel too bad.

The first of many cards was gifted to my dear friend from work, who's birthday is today. The pictures aren't great, as I took them from my iPhone just before writing it out and giving it to her. As soon as I take pictures of the other cards, I'll get them posted as well.

This card featured paper by DCWV from the Nana's Kitchen stack, as well as a generic orange cardstock. (The orange isn't quite as outrageous as it appears in the photos!) The 3 piece diecut is from the Twinkle Toes Cricut cartridge, and the font is from the Plantin Schoolbook cart. The diecut pieces are pop dotted for some dimension.

A little finishing touch on the inside to tie it all together.
